I've been a member since January and I tell you, if it weren't for these great ladies and all the info I've gotten from here, I'd be a nut case. You will find not only valuable info for trying to conceive, but also a great support system from wonderful, caring women. I guess you have to ask the question, what would you be willing to pay to conceive..... Beck42

I was part of the TTC forum for one year. If it wasn't for that forum, I doubt I would have my son who is nearly 4 months now. Trust me , $10.00 is nothing to pay compared to the expert advice you get and the emotional support. Lea(41)

I am also a member of the Fertility Forum...believe me a cost of $10 is a steal!! I have belonged off and on for almost 4 years. I credit Pat and her forum to the conception and birth of my now 2 year old son. I am again an active member, because at 45 we are ttc another miracle baby. Not only are the gals sooooo very supportive, but Pat (the owner of the board) is a certified fertility coach and knows more than most OB's and is familar with the procedures used by RE's. Kim 45

Definitely worth the $10 (and I'm cheap!). Knowledge is power, but the support is priceless! Summerwind

I consider $10 the free trial. This site is priceless. Barbara 42

Having gone through my own fertility challenges I understand what it is to walk this road.  It takes courage and inner strength and the loving support of those who truly know what you are experiencing.

Pat Antliff, M.Ed

Regardless if your decision to join, here are 3 things you need to consider:

1.  Seek the help of a qualified fertility specialist.

  • If you have been trying at least SIX months but have not become pregnant seek the help of a qualified fertility specialist.
  • if possible seek the help of a Reproductive Endocrinologist. They are specially trained in assisted reproductive techniques and problems affecting fertility
2. Learn all you can about fertility and become your own advocate! even IF you are TTC naturally.
  • ensure you receive information from credible sources
  • do not simply rely on your doctors to direct your treatments...become INFORMED and KNOWLEDGABLE
3. Join a knowlegable support group where you will receive advice, emotional support and friendship
  • Research shows that women who do NOT have emotional support while trying to conceive often give up too soon and lose the opportunity to achieve a pregnancy
